How easy are the food jars to clean?
All components can be removed, washed and then re-assembled. These are the parts:
- Character head + Lid - silicone and food grade plastic
- Stainless steel 316L body
Are the products dishwasher safe?
We recommend hand washing to protect the silicone character head and keep colours vibrant for years. Some dishwater detergents are more aggressive than others, the aggressive ones can damage the colour of the products. Hand washing is best.
What age is the bottle suitable for?
The bottles are perfect for children aged 3-12. The 450ml size fits small hands but holds enough for school days.
What age is the food jar suitable for?
The food jars are a bit bigger than the bottles and need bigger hands to open them. Think of a small watermelon for the size. 6+ years is our recommendation.
Does the bottle fit in school bag drink holders?
Yes! At 76mm diameter, Tonny fits standard Australian school bag bottle pockets.
Can my child drink hot liquids from it?
The double-wall insulation keeps drinks and soup hot, but we recommend warm (not boiling) liquids for children's safety.
What's your returns policy?
30-day returns on unused products. If your child doesn't bond with their buddy, we'll help you find the right one.
Do you ship Australia-wide?
Yes! Free shipping on orders over $75. Orders are sent out next business day. Metro orders typically arrive in 2-3 business days from dispatch. Regional and Western Australia orders typically arrive in 4-5 business days.
Who makes the bottles/food jars and where?
Pijo is the importer of these bottles and food jars. They are manufactured by the Canadian brand Utillife (pronounced "Uti - Life"). They are manufactured under strict supervision in China and then undergo FDA testing before sale.
How come I haven't heard of the brand before?
Pijo was launched from Melbourne only late 2025 and the Utillife brand has not been strongly represented in Australia until now.
